TalkTalk are completely responsible for any loss you may feel. Well something was better than losing everything. Much prefer Google Play, Amazon Video, Sky Store and iTunes UK and US.

Keep telling us to contact Talk Talk who bounce it back to Rakuten.Īlso not a big fan of Rakuten TV either. Rakuten customer service is absolutely dreadful. Rakuten bought the TT customer DB from TT which allowed TT to close its service!?!Ī lot of people got shafted by TalkTalkTV going over to Rakuten. Rakuten? Seeing as that's where all - no, sorry - SOME of my former TalkTalk content got transferred to last year! More details will be shared as they become available a plan is being developed to enable Flixster Video users to transition their video collections to another digital video service later this year, after which Flixster Video will be shut down. Not that it really matters, I'm already used to only being able to watch Star Trek via Vudu already, so if I can only watch Box Trolls via Vudu too it's not going to make a world of difference. The instructions that have been sent are to create a Vudu account and import your UV films there for them to then be available in MA Well not directly to MA but the UV films will be available to Vudu and as Vudu's films are available in MA they'll also be available in MA too. Movies Anywhere also isn’t supported by Paramount, Lionsgate, MGM and many of the subsidiaries which won’t help in offloading some of the movies in peoples libraries. Movies Anywhere doesn’t link to any Ultraviolet libraries directly so what you’ve said wouldn’t of been possible.

In the US Ultraviolet libraries are linked to FandangoNow and Vudu(and a couple of others) which in turn then can be linked to Movies Anywhere. Where did you get that information from as I don’t believe that to be true.

Hopefully MA will become available in the UK to do the same!?! In the USA people were able to transfer their UV libraries to MoviesAnywhere. I really hope Movies Anywhere come to the rescue by July as I’ve got quite a few movies in my Ultraviolet library that I would love to have transferred over to iTunes. And yep I do wonder why MA hasn’t launched here.įlixster Video in the UK is owned by Warner Bros. I’m not even sure who supports it in the country anymore! Look if Flixster Video eventually give us a route to move those copies to something like Rakuten (much as the way Talktalk did before shutting up shop to non subscribers) I’d be happy with that but I remain unconvinced. you’re not wrong that it’s been pretty much shuffling off the mortal coil the last couple of years. I was specifically referring to Flixster Video and not the old Flixster site. I'd just like to know if/when Disney are going to roll that out over here. Over the past 12-18 months less and less routes were available for UV and a couple of the studios behind it signed up with Movies Anywhere so this was inevitable in the face of being beaten mainly by MA. It's been a practically unsupported frontend for UV over here for a couple of years already, probably since it split from Flixster when that was bought in 2016 too. Flixster Video wasn't part of the deal and has been coasting or killed in various countries ever since. a lot of my films were redeemed via Flixster so that’s kind of annoying.įlixster isn't here anyway - it was bought out in 2016 and killed off in February 2018. for long after this considering UV was the bedrock of that platform. I can’t imagine Flixster sticking around in the U.K. Thank you for making UltraViolet part of how you enjoy digital entertainment. You can continue to make online purchases and redeem codes, but these may only be available through that retailer, and will not be added to your UltraViolet Library. Your UltraViolet Library will automatically close and, in the majority of cases, your movies and TV shows will remain accessible at previously-linked retailers.

Linking your UltraViolet Library to additional retailers can maximize your access to your Library and help avoid potential disruption. Depending on the retailer, these new purchases and redemptions may or may not be added to your UltraViolet Library. You can also continue to purchase new movies and TV shows and redeem digital codes by following the redemption instructions. You can continue to access your UltraViolet movies and TV shows through the retailer(s) linked to your UltraViolet Library. If your Library is not currently linked to a retailer or if you would like to link to additional participating retailers, select one or more retailers to link to your UltraViolet Library.ĭon’t unlink or close your UltraViolet Library, as UltraViolet and retailers will be working together to maximize your continued access to movies and TV shows. Login here and choose Retailer Services to verify the retailers linked to your UltraViolet Library.
